Hugo Flores is officially working on the new installment of the Project Creation series, and also on a brand new (4th) Factory of Dreams album.
Project Creation will focus on the continuation of the previous episode – Dawn on Pyther – with new discoveries including a new planet
with a hidden city, an intelligent ocean and much more. Hugo is counting on the great musicians and singers that gave the epic sound
of Project Creation, and also new performers to join in!

Factory of Dreams fourth album will be a concept album, a scifi adventure, where Earth is invaded by something quite unique… Epic stuff coming in our way, with Hugo Flores, Jessica Lehto and some huge surprises!

The newly renovated Sala Cats will be the new home of Madrid is The Dark.

With a capacity of around 1000 people, it’s located in the district of Moncloa, within walking distance to metro Islas Filipinas and close to famous bar district of Bajos de Arguelles.

Leaving and re-entering the venue will be permitted not like before!!!

Concert byron for bloggers

Joi seara, 8 septembrie, am participat la invitatia lui Chinezu la un concert dedicat bloggerilor al formatiei byron.

Locatia mi s-a parut la inceput a fi prost aleasa, clubul Fabrica nefiind chiar pe gustul meu. O locatie gen Wings mi s-ar fi parut mult mai potrivita. In fine, daca am promis ca ma duc, m-am dus si bine am facut.

Sound-ul trupei a fost exceptional. De mult n-am mai fost la un concert care sa nu aiba parte de vreo microfonie enervanta cand iti e lumea mai draga sau vreo proba de sunet excesiv de lunga. Din acest punct de vedere, tot respectul pentru baieti. Adevarati profesionisti.

Si tot respectul pentru tipa de la sunet (nu stiu cum o cheama) dar am ramas profund impresionat de profesionalismul ei. Misca din butoane de parca ar fi fost o prelungire naturala a mainilor ei iar dezinvoltura cu care isi facea treaba… tot respectul.

La inceput, primele melodii mi s-au parut a fi o combinatie intre The Connels, Eagles si Paul McCartney iar pe masura ce timpul trecea personalitatea lor isi facea din ce in ce mult prezenta, reusind ca la final sa-i faca pe fiecare dintre bloggerii participanti sa pastreze pe buze in drumul spre casa un refren de la una dintre melodiile cantate.
Amestecul de genuri muzicale este foarte potrivit pentru calatoriile lungi cu masina, calatorii in care trebuie sa fi relaxat, chiar zen. Parol!

Daca pe parcursul concertului mai aveam indoieli cu privire la cat de buni sunt, cover-urile Shape of my heart – Sting si Perfect – Timpuri Noi le-au spulberat pe toate.

Cu ocazia acestui concert, byron a lansat videoclipul piese Far away, videoclip filmat in Salina de la Turda in toamna anului trecut.

Dupa ce veti urmari clipul de mai jos, daca veti dori sa vedeti tot concertul acustic din salina atunci sa stiti ca nu veti avea mult de asteptat. Acesta va fi lansat in curand pe DVD.

Ii multumesc lui Chinezu pentru invitatie si, in mod deosebit, le multumesc baietilor de la byron pentru concertul sustinut. Ati fost minunati! Si asta o zice un om obsedat de black metal.

In ultimul rand, le multumesc sponsorilor evenimentului, Heineken si Ciuc, fara de care evenimentul poate ca nu ar fi avut loc sau daca ar fi avut loc, poate ca nu ar fi fost atat de fun. Cei prezenti stiu la ce ma refer.

Dirty Shirt incheie turneul Dirty Tour 2010-2011

DIRTY SHIRT va incheia turneul Dirty Tour 2010-2011 (turneu cu peste 50 de concerte in Romania, Ungaria si Germania) cu 2 concerte, in data de 30 iulie la Route68 Summer Fest si 31 iulie la GhioRock Festival.

Dupa aceste concerte, trupa va incepe lucrul intensiv pentru un nou album, ce va fi inregistrat probabil anul viitor si va fi lansat in 2013.

Inainte de a intra in studio, Dirty Shirt va realiza un turneu (primavara 2012) in Franta.

DESOLATE WAYS: “Regret” video released

Brazilian goth metallers DESOLATE WAYS released a video for “Regret”, song which is part of “Last Moons”, the band’s third studio album, released via Die Hard Records and produced by Roger “Earth” Fingle (BLOOD TEARS, SEDUCED BY SUICIDE).

About the video, which was directed by Luís Mário Fontoura (Scelerata, Hibria, Magician), the guitarist Elizeu Hainzenreder comments: “Here we are releasing another video in our career, the third one to be exact. It was very good to work with Luís Mário Fontoura and his crew. I think that watching the video is enough to understand what I’m talking about. The song speaks of things that we regret having done or not having done, but under the perspective of someone who is in the end of his life. We shot it in our home city (Torres), because we thought it would be a great opportunity to present the place that inspired the creation of the band and also the atmosphere of our songs and lyrics.”
