Tonight I’ve found a new and improved in-depth documentary capturing the dark, mystical and evil history of the Black Metal genre. Based on Scandinavian Viking lore, Black Metal borrows from ancient Viking melodies, lyrics and mythology dating back to the 11th century.
If you have time (it’s about 1h and 15 minutes long), I encourage you to watch it and comment. The documentary is based on interviews with: Bjorn Almar (organizer Hammerslagfestival Vinterblot), Rimfrost, Svartahrid, Vreid, Mordichrist,Watain, Ondskapt, Shining.
